Seasonal Festivals and Events

Debuting at Epcot this winter, the International Festival of the Arts brings cuisine, art and entertainment to life. Taking place each weekend through February 20, this inaugural festival features different artisans and events ranging from artfully prepared food to Disney on Broadway Concert Series. Come March, the International Flower & Garden Festival boasts farm-to-table fare and bountiful blooms. Both festivals, along with average temperatures in the 70s, makes Disney even more appealing during the winter months.

Discounted Admission

The new 4 Park Magic Ticket allows for memorable magic in each park for only $70 per day plus tax. This ticket package provides admission to each of the four theme parks on four separate days through May 26, 2017 when booking by March 5, 2017. There’s a few blackout dates, but this is a package you won’t find come summer.

More Dining

Fewer crowds means more availability to grab that last-minute dining reservation. During peak times it’s almost always necessary to pre-plan reservations months in advance. Yet there’s a freedom in the winter to dine based on one’s cravings and schedule of the day. Venture outside the parks and visit Disney Springs for fried chicken from Chef Art Smith at Homecoming and feed your sweet tooth at The Ganachery with gourmet chocolates.

Smaller Crowds and Pristine Weather

When school’s out, families flock to Disney by plane, train and RV. Enjoy shorter lines for classic attractions and character meet and greets while basking in the impeccable Sunshine State climate. Plus, a last minute FastPass is easier to nab through the My Disney Experience mobile app so you can be on your way to enjoying Soarin’ with less wait time.

Holiday Cheer

While Disney brings magic to each day, the parks come alive with a special sense of wonder and excitement around the holidays. With more than 1,300 decorated trees throughout the resort and 8.5 million lights hanging, every inch of Disney World glows with holiday excitement in November and December. Disney’s décor will leave both children and adults in pure awe.
